Prior to CAE, Eric worked at Zodiac Aerospace as a Flammability Analyst, analyzing technical specifications and designs for aircraft cabinets. Eric also briefly worked as a Project Coordinator at the City of Kirkland in 2013.

Eric Lapierre Eng. has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, which they obtained between 2009 and 2014. Eric also holds a Certificate in Computers & Information Technology from McGill University, completed from 2019 to 2021. Prior to their Bachelor's Degree, they obtained a DEC in Science from CEGEP - John Abbott College between 2007 and 2009. Additionally, they are certified as an Engineer by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
