Afterwards, they enrolled at McGill University from 1989 to 1993 and obtained their LL.B./BCL in Common Law and Civil Law. Continuing their academic journey, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1994 to 1995 and attained an M.Sc. in Public Administration and Public Policy. In addition to their education, Helene V Gagnon, APR, FCPRS has also obtained various certifications such as the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) from the Canadian Public Relations Society, Inc. in 2003, and the Fellow (FCPRS) designation from the Canadian Public Relations Society in 2020. Furthermore, in 2021, they achieved the Global Competent Boards Designation (ESG Competent Boards) from Competent Boards.
