Zachary Ardell-Smith

Zachary Ardell-Smith is an experienced engineering and project management professional with a background in mechanical design and construction management. Currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager at FOCON Inc./Cahill Contractors since April 2015, Zachary manages a $40 million construction project for the Oakland Unified School District. Previous roles include AutoCAD Drafter at KCP, Inc., where Zachary developed elevation maps and models for a Rapid Transit Bus route, and Mechanical Design Engineer at Sk8TheTown, focusing on performance improvements for Freeline Skates. Additional experience includes mechanical design engineering roles at SunPower Corporation and SolarCity, where contributions included the design of solar trackers and mounting hardware, resulting in multiple patents. Zachary began a career in automation engineering at Production Robotics, leading projects in machine design for healthcare packaging.
