Kan Kotecha is the Chief Technology Officer at CAIS. Kan is responsible for the global engineering team that develops CAIS’ platforms, including CAIS Marketplace, CAIS Structured Notes, CAIS Solutions, and CAIS Custom Funds. He is also a member of the firm’s executive committee.
Kan brings over two decades of experience developing cutting-edge products, driving digital transformation initiatives, scaling organizations, and effectively managing global teams. In this role, he leverages his experiences with growth-stage companies, Google, and Morgan Stanley to drive technical excellence and innovation, making it easier to invest in alternatives using the platform.
Kan serves as Vice-Chair of Special Olympics New York, a testament to his passionate advocacy for inclusion and equity.
Kan grew up in the UK and worked in Moscow, Zurich, and India before moving to the US in 2010. He is married to his wife of 30 years and is proud to be the dad of three young adults.
