Javier Valle T-Figueras, born in Barcelona in 1969, has been a member of the Management Committee of CaixaBank since January 2019 and CEO of VidaCaixa, the leading insurance company in Spain, owned 100% by CaixaBank.
He holds a degree in Business Studies and a Master's degree in Business Administration awarded by ESADE in 1992, as well as a degree from the Community of European Management School (CEMS) in HEC Paris.
He holds several representative positions in the insurance industry: He is Deputy Chairman, member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of Unespa, the sectorial employers' association, and Director of ICEA.
Over the last years he has been General Manager at Bansabadell Vida, Bansabadell Seguros Generales and Bansabadell Pensiones, as well as CEO of Zurich Life. He was CFO of the Group Zúrich in Spain and Director of Investments for Spain and Latin America.
