Roman-Valentyn Tkachuk

Roman-Valentyn Tkachuk, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Calabrio, Inc., where responsibilities include leading cloud infrastructure security implementation, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and cloud security audits. A significant achievement involves the design and implementation of a Zero Trust-based IAM framework utilizing Microsoft Entra ID, PIM, conditional access, and CIEM principles, which successfully reduced risky user accounts by 90% across Azure and AWS platforms. Additionally, Roman-Valentyn has held multiple roles at the Blekinge Institute of Technology, including Cloud Security Engineer, Researcher, and Doctoral Researcher, and has served as Chairperson of the Doctoral Committee.
