Ray Atallah

Ray Atallah is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in financial management and administration. Currently serving as the Director of Corporate Financial Services at the Calgary Board of Education since December 2014, Ray provides visionary leadership and strategic direction for the financial support services. Concurrently, as the Head of Housing and Government Relations at the Higher Colleges of Technology since September 2013, Ray cultivates government alliances and manages communications with key stakeholders. Previously, Ray held various positions at the Higher Colleges of Technology from 1996 to 2013, including Head of Procurement and Contracts, where significant cost-saving initiatives were implemented. Earlier experience includes a decade at the Office of the Auditor General of Alberta, where Ray was a Manager of Finance and Administration and an Auditor, driving efficiency and accuracy in financial processes. Ray holds an Honor Diploma in System Technology from NAIT, a Certified Management Accountant designation from the University of Alberta, and an accounting diploma from NAIT.
