Anton Chuppin is an experienced library and information science professional with a robust background in technology management within library settings. Currently serving as the Manager of the IT Interfaces Group and Manager of Virtual Services at Calgary Public Library since February 2014, Anton has previously held positions such as Manager of Library Technology Services and Assistant CEO at Shortgrass Library System, as well as Emerging Technologies and Systems Librarian at Canada Revenue Agency. Additional roles include Resources Sharing & New Technologies Librarian at Nova Scotia Provincial Library and Software Developer at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. Anton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Lomonosov Moscow State University and a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
