Genevieve Luthy has extensive experience in library and information management, currently serving as Senior Manager of Collections at Calgary Public Library since March 2020, after holding the position of Manager of Service Design. Prior to this role, Genevieve worked at SAIT Polytechnic as Library Manager from November 2013 to March 2020 and held various customer service management roles at Calgary Public Library between 2007 and 2013. Genevieve began their career at Calgary Public Library as Teen Services Librarian and as Branch Librarian at Thorn-Hill Library. Earlier experience includes working as a Regulatory Analyst at ENMAX and as a Market and Regulatory Analyst at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers. Education includes a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Alberta and dual Bachelor's degrees in Commerce (Finance) and Arts (Economics) from the University of Calgary.
