Justine Tan

Justine Tan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in lab operations and management, currently serving as Associate Director of Lab Operations at Calico Life Sciences since November 2015. Justine has effectively managed personnel in Lab Operations and Shipping/Receiving departments, overseen equipment vendor management, and spearheaded the implementation of a computerized monitoring management software. A strong focus on compliance, strategic space planning, and process improvements has characterized Justine's work. Prior to Calico Life Sciences, Justine worked at Genentech as an Equipment Prep Technician, where adherence to cGMP and safety protocols was paramount. Justine holds a B.S. in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of California, Merced.
