David Hisaya Asari

David Hisaya Asari serves as President and Board Member of AIGA San Francisco, where contributions include leadership in design, education, and diversity initiatives. Asari holds the position of Senior Adjunct Professor at California College of the Arts, focusing on Graphic Design, and has been involved in various educational programs, including Japan Study Abroad and Critical Ethnic Studies. With over 20 years of design experience at Asari Design and previous roles at Pentagram Design, Asari has worked with notable clients and led initiatives such as the AIGA SF Fellows Awards. Current roles also include Design Consultant and Creative Director at Impact Collaborative and advisor for San Francisco Design Week. Education includes a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
