Asal Akhondzadeh is an experienced attorney currently serving as Deputy Attorney General in the Consumer Protection section of the California Department of Justice since February 2022. Prior to this role, Akhondzadeh worked as a Litigation Attorney at Levy, Small & Lallas from September 2019 to February 2022, representing financial institutions and analyzing company financials for strategic business decisions. Akhondzadeh also served as an Appellate Attorney at the California Court of Appeal, functioning as a judicial law clerk and drafting opinions on various legal matters between September 2018 and August 2019.
