Christine Friar Walton

Christine Friar Walton has extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as Deputy Attorney General V in the Health Quality Enforcement Section at the California Department of Justice since June 2013. In this role, Christine represents state licensing agencies, including the California Medical Board, in various complex administrative litigation matters involving disciplinary actions against licensed health care professionals. Prior to this position, Christine worked as a Litigation Attorney at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, focusing on complex litigation involving corporate clients and environmental statutes. Additionally, Christine served as Counsel (Secondee) at ITT Corp., providing legal support on litigation management and contract negotiations. Christine's early experience includes a position as a Summer Associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison. Christine holds a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a B.A. in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
