Viviana Becerra

Viviana Becerra is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in legislative and governmental roles. Currently serving as Chief Of Staff at the California Department of Justice since May 2021, Becerra previously held similar positions in the California State Assembly, first as Chief Of Staff and later as Legislative Director from March 2017 to April 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Legislative Advocate for Gonzalez, Quintana, Hunter, & Cruz, LLC, where Becerra represented clients before the California Legislature on gaming and health issues. Additionally, Becerra gained valuable experience as a Senate Fellow in the office of Senator Loni Hancock, contributing to significant legislation. Academic credentials include a Political Science degree from UC Santa Barbara.
