Derrick Harris

Derrick Harris, Ed.D., serves as the Senior Director of Institutional Giving at the California Institute of the Arts since July 2021. Previously, Derrick held the position of Director of Corporate Relations at the University of Southern California's Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences from August 2017 to July 2021, and prior to that, worked as Assistant Director of Corporate and Alumni Relations and Development Assistant at UCLA's Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science from April 2014 to August 2017. Derrick's early career includes freelance consulting for various non-profit organizations from September 2013 to December 2014, and serving as Program Manager and Site Coordinator for the Children's Defense Fund between March 2009 and August 2012. Derrick's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, a Master of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from San Francisco State University.
