Jon Gottlieb serves as the Head of Sound Design at the California Institute of the Arts since September 1996 and has been the owner of Jon Sound, Inc. since January 1980, providing audio systems rental for theater, film, and television. As a sound designer, Jon Gottlieb has worked on notable productions including "Master Class" with Tyne Daily at the Vaudeville Theatre in London and various performances at the Manhattan Theater Club and the Kennedy Center. Jon Gottlieb's extensive experience includes serving as a resident sound designer for the Center Theatre Group and Los Angeles Theater Center, as well as a sound designer and administrative assistant at the Pasadena Playhouse. Additionally, educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from UCLA and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the University of Southern California.
