Mark Carrier

Mark Carrier serves as the Executive Director of Faculty Affairs & Records at California State University, Fullerton since July 2022. Prior to this role, Mark held various academic and administrative positions at California State University, Dominguez Hills from September 2008 to July 2022, including Professor of Psychology and Department Chairperson. Mark co-chaired the WSCUC Accreditation Team, successfully leading the campus-wide re-accreditation effort, and also contributed to the WSCUC Interim Report Committee. Mark's expertise in assessment is highlighted by a role as Director of Assessment, overseeing processes for student learning outcomes and university accreditation. Mark's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology, along with a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts, all from UC San Diego. Mark co-founded and co-directed the George Marsh Applied Cognition Laboratory during the tenure at CSU Dominguez Hills.
