Kiran R.

Kiran R. is an accomplished research technician currently at California State University, Northridge, responsible for managing logistics for marine research projects in French Polynesia. With a strong foundation in marine biology, Kiran has held various roles, including graduate research assistant for the San Onofre artificial reef mitigation project and a SCUBA diving project assessing octocoral populations. Kiran has also served as a graduate teaching assistant, supporting courses in biology and fish ecology while guiding students through independent research projects. Earlier experience includes work as dining hall waitstaff for seniors with dementia, undergraduate research assistant under Dr. Hollie Putnam, and a coastal and environmental fellow focusing on copepod behavioral effects.
