Calista was founded in 2021 in Luxembourg as an international advisory and co-investment firm focused on Private Equity and Venture Capital. We serve entrepreneurial families and Single Family Offices, guided by core values of trust, ethics, excellence, entrepreneurship, and a strong family spirit.

We operate with a global investment scope and a local approach, with a presence in Luxembourg, and since 2025, in Belgium and the UK.

Our foundation is built on a trusted network of over 300 families and 500+ GPs, giving us a unique vantage point into the private markets landscape. Calista’s founder, Rajaa Mekouar, is a well-recognized and award-winning industry leader with over two decades of experience in PE/VC. 
Next to Rajaa, Serge de Ganay, Calista’s Chairman, brings a distinguished background advising and working with family offices across Europe.

Since inception, Calista has been active across direct investments, fund allocations, and co-investments in both PE and VC, tailoring strategies to the evolving needs of our investors. Our deal team combines strong analytical capabilities with a flexible, investor-centric mindset, and is supported by a network of top-tier international advisors across regions and sectors.

In 2024, we launched the Observatoire, a proprietary initiative that captures the insights, convictions, and investment perspectives of our community. It brings together research, dedicated webinars and an annual event where key private market themes are explored among families and industry insiders, under the patronage of Prince Félix of Luxembourg.

In February 2025, Capnor, a family-owned investment firm, became our reference shareholder. This partnership further strengthens our alignment with entrepreneurial families and enhances our ability to anchor both fund and direct investments.
