Sandeep Patel

Sandeep Patel is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in hardware engineering. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering at Calix since May 2022, Sandeep previously held various leadership roles at Cisco from August 2001 to May 2022, including Vice President of Hardware Engineering and Senior Director of Hardware Engineering. Sandeep's earlier career includes a position as Director of Hardware Engineering at Zaffire (2000 - 2001) and Engineering Manager at 3Com Corporation (1990 - 2000). Sandeep holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo (1983 - 1987) and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University (1992 - 1995).
