Teresa Moreno, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in chemical engineering and project management with a strong focus on bioresource processing and the commercialisation of natural products. Currently a member of the Science Leadership Group at Callaghan Innovation since October 2016, Teresa plays a crucial role in evaluating project proposals within the Bioresource Processing Alliance. With prior roles as Principal Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer, Teresa has extensive expertise in industrial manufacturing processes, including the extraction of bioactives and the management of regulatory compliance for food safety and cannabis research. Teresa's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Valladolid and a variety of postdoctoral and research positions that explore innovative techniques in natural product development and sustainability.
