Sridhar Makkapati

Sridhar M. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Information Technology, particularly within the power generation and energy sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Information Technology at Calpine since November 2008, Sridhar oversees IT operations for the company's combined cycle and geothermal plants. Prior roles include Director of Information Technology, Information System Manager, and IS Team Lead at Calpine, as well as Technical Architect for the EAM team at Duke Energy Corporation. Additional experience includes serving as EAM Senior Analyst at KNPC and Maximo Administrator/Procurement & Contracts Manager at CMSENERGY, where notable achievements include implementing Maximo in a record time of 100 days. Prior to that, Sridhar worked as a Materials and Logistics Officer at Schlumberger. Sridhar holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras, completed in 1990.
