Peter Silverthorne

Peter Silverthorne is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in aircraft engine testing and management. Currently serving as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing at Calspan since January 2022, Peter specializes in civil, military, and marine aircraft engine testing. Prior to this role, Peter spent over two decades at GE Aviation, where key positions included MRO Services Delivery Leader for the GE9X platform, Customer Operations Leader, Strategic Customer Leader, NPI Leader, and Business Leader for Engine Test Cell Operations. Peter also honed technical and project management skills as a Technical Support Engineer and Aircraft Engineer at GE Aircraft Engine Services from 1992 to 1999. Earlier experience includes a tenure with the Royal Air Force as a Propulsion Systems Technician, supporting various aircraft programs in demanding environments.
