Mac Bruce

Mac Bruce is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and communications. Currently serving as Lead Project Manager at CALSTART since March 2023, Mac previously held the position of Project Manager at GrantWorks, Inc. from 2021 to 2023. A background in academia includes experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Transportation Research at UT Austin from 2019 to 2021. Mac's earlier roles include Program Associate for Livable Communities at the Hyde Family Foundation, Communications Specialist at both the New Memphis Institute and Rhodes College, and Communications Associate at Shelby Farms Park Conservancy. Mac began the career as a Reporting Intern at The Greenville Journal. Mac holds a Master of Science degree in Community and Regional Planning from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rhodes College.
