Technical Solutions
Nick Thomas is the vice president, contracts, pricing and procurement, at Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Technical Solutions division. He is responsible for the integration of HII’s services businesses and for the division’s business operations, including IT, contracts, procurement, estimating, pricing, compliance, quality, facilities and security.
Thomas has been with the company for 20 years, most recently serving as corporate director of strategy and development. He has been responsible for leading many of HII’s corporate development activities, which included exploring strategic alternatives for the Avondale shipyard, business development, mergers and acquisitions, integration of acquired companies, and developing HII’s strategic plan. He has held a number of senior leadership positions in program management, business management and supply chain management at HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding division.
