Josephrajan Thainashmuthu

Josephrajan Thainashmuthu is a highly experienced chemist specializing in process chemistry for pharmaceutical development, currently serving as Senior Scientist III at Cambrex since January 2021. With prior roles at Raybow Pharmaceutical, DesignMedix/Elex Biotech, OHSU, Chem Master International Inc., and multiple postdoctoral fellowships at National Tsing Hua University, Josephrajan has developed expertise in the synthesis and optimization of complex organic compounds, scale-up processes, drug delivery systems, and innovative methods for API development. Josephrajan holds a Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry from the University of Madras and has a strong foundation in general chemistry with a Master's degree from Loyola College and a Bachelor's degree from St. Xavier's College.
