Colin Danson

Colin Danson serves as the Editor in Chief of the High Power Lasers Science and Engineering publication at Cambridge University Press since October 2013. In addition, Colin holds visiting academic positions at the University of Oxford and Imperial College London, where responsibilities include coordinating AWE initiatives for the OxCHEDS and CIFS. Since July 2006, Colin has been employed as a Distinguished Scientist at AWE, having previously managed the VULCAN Programme at STFC from September 1983 to July 2006, focusing on high power laser development for the plasma physics community. Colin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Nottingham from 1977 to 1980.
