Cambridge Isotope Laboratories
As Vice President of Project Engineering and Execution, Steiger is the lead project engineer for the major engineering projects at CIL and is responsible for overseeing the engineering requirements for projects and operations. The engineering team then supports and provides expertise for process operations.
Following graduation in May 2000, Michael joined CIL Isotope Separations (CIS) in Xenia, Ohio, where he was hired to learn and work on startup and operation of the 18O distillation cascade. Through his years at CIS, he has gained experience through expansions and process development for 18O distillation, deuterium, deuterated benzene, 13C urea, and 13C distillation.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Dayton.
