Lars P. B. Christensen

Lars P. B. Christensen is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in algorithm development, specializing in speech applications and digital signal processing. Currently serving as a Senior Control Algorithm Engineer at Cambridge Mechatronics Ltd since April 2024, Lars previously held the position of Senior Principal at NXP Semiconductors, where contributions included the design of algorithms for voice-based interfaces and the development of high-performance VoiceSpot technology. Lars has a strong background in wireless communications, with key roles at companies such as Renesas Mobile Corporation and Nokia, focused on physical-layer algorithms for cellular transceivers. Lars holds impressive academic credentials, including a PhD in Wireless Communications and Signal Processing from the Technical University of Denmark and an additional PhD from UC San Diego.
