Amanda Laws

Amanda Laws serves as the Clinical Specialist Lead at Cambridge Public Schools, where responsibilities include leading a team of 30 special education social workers to provide Tier 3 mental health services to students. Amanda also holds a position as an Adjunct Professor and Clinical Supervisor at Boston College, teaching and supervising graduate students in mental health counseling. Participation in the Transformative Leaders of Massachusetts fellowship has further enhanced instructional leadership and equity-centered school design skills. Previous roles include Adjustment Counselor at Milton Public Schools, Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Emmanuel College, and Director of Camp Shriver at UMass Boston. Academic qualifications include a B.A. in Psychology from Yale University and advanced degrees in Counseling Psychology and Kinesiology, with ongoing doctoral studies at Johns Hopkins University School of Education.
