Maya Cameron-Gilsey

Maya Cameron-Gilsey, LICSW, is an experienced social worker currently serving at Cambridge Public Schools since November 2020. Previously, Maya worked at The Home for Little Wanderers as a school-based clinician within Boston Public Schools from September 2016 to August 2021, where responsibilities included clinical supervision. Maya's experience also encompasses a social work internship in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital from September 2015 to May 2016, in-home therapy and mentoring with Wayside Youth & Family Support Network between January 2013 and September 2015, and a role as a mental health specialist at Franciscan Children's from June 2011 to January 2013. Maya holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Lawrence University (2007-2011) and a Master of Social Work from Salem State University (2014-2016).
