Atsushi Haruta has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2001. Atsushi began their career as a Systems Engineer at Agilent Technologies in 2001. In 2004, they moved to Ixia as a Systems Engineer at Ixia Custom Engineering. In 2007, they joined Sansa Security (Discretix Technologies) as Country Manager, Japan and Sales Director. In 2015, they became Director of Sales & Business Development at Arm's IoT Services Group. In 2020, they were appointed Director of Sales, Business and Market Development at Pelion IoT (a SoftBank Group company). In 2022, they will transition to Cambridge Quantum as Senior Sales Manager of Cybersecurity.
Atsushi Haruta has an extensive education history. Atsushi obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Systems Engineering from Shinshu University between 1994 and 1999, and then attended one year of graduate school at the same university. In 1999, they received their Master of Science in Bioinformatics from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Atsushi also obtained a Certificate in Business & Entrepreneurship from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California in 2003. In 2013, they earned a Certificate in International Executive Programme - Business & Leadership from INSEAD. Most recently, in November 2021, they were awarded an IBM Quantum Challenge Africa 2021 Achievement from IBM.
