Margie Jarvis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in organizational development, leadership, and culture transformation across various sectors, including nonprofit, education, and healthcare. Currently serving as the Chief People and Culture Officer at CAMFED since August 2022, Margie focuses on fostering a culture of inclusion and leadership while supporting global team members. Prior to CAMFED, Margie held the role of Director at Just Being You Ltd, enhancing organizational cultures for thriving environments, and contributed to yWe Media as an Advisory Board Member. Previous interim roles included leadership positions at Oxford University Hospitals and Southampton University Hospital, where Margie implemented innovative programs during the pandemic. Margie's earlier career features significant achievements at Oxford University Press, Avidus Associates, and several other institutions, all aimed at inspiring leadership, promoting diversity, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Margie's academic credentials include an MSc in People and Organizational Development, an MBA, and a B.Ed with Honours.

CAMFED is a pan-African movement, revolutionizing how girls’ education is delivered. Through a gold-standard system of accountability to the young people and communities we serve, we have created a model that radically improves girls’ prospects of becoming independent, influential women. Our impact increases exponentially through the Association of young women educated with CAMFED’s support. Together, we multiply the number of girls in school, and accelerate their transition to secure livelihoods and leadership.
