John Gamber-Thompson

John Gamber-Thompson is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching English at the high school level. Currently serving as a High School English Teacher at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy since August 2013, John has previously held similar positions at Gunderson High School from October 2007 to June 2012 and Coahoma County High School while also participating in Teach For America. Additionally, John worked as an Adult Day Facility Counselor at LAUREL STREET CENTER from January 2005 to October 2007. Academic credentials include a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Mount Saint Mary's University, a Single Subject Credential in English/Language Arts from San Jose State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Religion/Religious Studies from Georgia State University.
