David Austin has over a decade of professional experience, with a range of roles in strategy, planning, and brand development. David is currently the Managing Partner and Global Head of Strategy + Planning at Camron, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded One True Maverick Vodka in 2019, where they focused on strategy and brand development. From 2015 to 2022, David worked at Iris, first as a Planner and later as a Senior Planner and Strategy Director, overseeing the creative and strategic output for clients such as adidas, Uber, and Heineken. In 2016, they co-founded Pocketwork, a real-time recruitment app for the hospitality industry. Earlier in their career, David held positions at Wunderman, Oxfam, and Wieden + Kennedy, gaining experience in strategy, marketing, and account management.
