Pamela Kent is an accomplished professional in the field of research and policy related to substance use and addiction, currently serving as the Director of Research and Emerging Trends at the Can Centre on Substance Use and Addiction since October 2016. Various roles at the organization include Interim Director of Research, Associate Director of Research, and Senior Research and Policy Analyst. Prior to this, Pamela worked at The Royal Mental Health Centre from 2001 to October 2016 as a Laboratory Coordinator. Pamela holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from Queen's University.
