Carol Murillo Varon

Carol Murillo Varon is an accomplished quality management professional with extensive experience in overseeing quality assurance and food safety processes across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Regional Quality Manager at CANPACK US since August 2025, Carol is responsible for the development and implementation of Food Safety processes and the BRCGS food safety program. Previously, as Quality Manager at CANPACK Group, integral management of the quality department and compliance with international regulations were key responsibilities. Carol also held leadership roles at Eterna S.A. as Director of Quality Assurance, ASSA ABLOY Group as Head of Quality, and Encajes North America as Head of Laboratory, demonstrating proficiency in establishing quality management systems and enhancing operational efficiencies. Educational credentials include a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, a Magister in Operations Management from Universidad de La Sabana, and additional qualifications in Quality Management and Occupational Safety and Health.
