David Stewart

David Stewart is a seasoned professional in the financial services industry with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Senior Vice-President of Independent Distribution at Canada Life since July 2022, David has also been the Principal at David Stewart Financial and Risk Management since 1995. David's previous roles include Chief Operations Officer and President of Financial Horizons Group from 2013 to 2022, where responsibilities included driving sales and managing marketing strategies across Canada. Earlier in David’s career, significant positions included President and Chief Operating Officer at Performins Canada Inc. and Principal at Wise Riddell Financial Group. David started as an agent at Prudential Insurance in 1987 after graduating from Laurentian University with an HBA in History.
