Jamil Kara

Jamil Kara is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President at The Canadian Brewhouse since July 2023, Jamil previously held multiple roles at Canadian Western Bank from October 2017 to July 2023, including AVP positions in HR programs, sales effectiveness, and client support. Jamil's earlier experience includes a Director of Human Resources role at Aramark, where significant achievements included winning the PAR Gold Award in 2016 and leading national initiatives in talent management and employee relations. Previously, Jamil served as District Human Resources Manager at Walmart Canada, managing large-scale projects and contributing to successful organizational changes. Educationally, Jamil holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Human Resources and Strategic Management from Capilano University, completed between 2003 and 2006.
