Istvan M. is a seasoned professional in the fields of neuroscience and health research, currently serving as Project Lead for Major Initiatives at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since August 2020. Previously, Istvan held the role of Data Access Officer for the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging at the McGill University Health Centre from May 2016 to August 2020. Experience also includes positions as Director at Alton Gray, Regional VM for Gucci in France, Belgium, and Monaco, Research Neuroscientist at UCLA’s Tennenbaum Center for the Biology of Creativity, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at EPFL. Istvan earned a PhD in Neuroscience from UCLA, complemented by a Pre-doctoral Fellowship at the UCLA Center for Culture, Brain and Development. Additional educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology and Neuroscience from Dalhousie University and a 200 RYT certification in Hatha Yoga from Liberation Yoga Los Angeles.
