Andreas Korinek has a diverse work experience starting from being a PhD student at Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry from 2007 to 2010, followed by various roles at McMaster University from 2010 to 2022, including as Executive Director. Andreas then transitioned to owning Ivy Scientific from 2015 to 2023, before becoming the Director of Science & Technology, Strategy & Collaborations at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories in 2023.
Andreas Korinek completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet Muenchen in 2001-2007. Andreas then went on to earn their Master of Science in Biochemistry from the same institution from 2001-2007. Andreas furthered their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from Technical University Munich in 2007-2010. In addition to their academic qualifications, Andreas obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2023.
