Tanvir Qureshi is a Senior Scientist at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories since January 2023 and a Visiting Fellow at the University of the West of England, where also serves as Associate Head of Department and Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering Materials & Structures. Prior experience includes Research Affiliate and Instructor roles at the University of Toronto, along with being a Research Fellow in the Department of Civil & Mineral Engineering. Earlier academic contributions were made as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Cambridge and as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor at Leading University. Tanvir Qureshi holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Cambridge, an MSc from Cardiff University, and a BSc from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. Research focuses include nano-engineered concrete, graphene-based materials, and self-healing concrete for structural applications.
