Matt Moore is the Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer at Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC), responsible for integrating merchandising, marketing, and loyalty strategies to create seamless, personalized experiences across all CTC customer touchpoints.
With a commitment to a customer-first, data-driven approach, Matt will lead CTC’s Triangle Retail Media, Consumer Brands, and the growth of the Triangle Rewards loyalty program by deepening customer insights and improving core retail processes that enable horizontal, data-driven strategies critical to the success of CTC’s True North strategy.
Previously, Matt was Chief Operating Officer at Tim Hortons, where he improved financial performance, product offerings, operations, guest satisfaction and franchise relationships. He also led the development of their digital and loyalty strategy, including the Tims Rewards program and app. Matt also served as Chief Customer Officer for Yum! Brands in Europe, overseeing Pizza Hut’s operations in nearly 25 countries. There, he drove e-commerce and mobile innovations that enhanced customer experiences and fueled growth. He also worked as a consultant at BCG and an engineer at General Electric.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Queen’s University and an MBA from the London Business School. In 2022, he was named one of the 50 Best Executives by The Globe and Mail.
