Originally from the great state of Texas, Emily Keener Silverman is an executive assistant and works closely with the team to provide core admin support and assistance with special projects.
Before joining Canapi, Emily worked on Capitol Hill for four years as director of operations for the House Agriculture Committee and as an executive assistant to the chairman of the committee. Emily is a 2014 graduate of Texas Tech University, with a double major in marketing and management. She lived abroad in Spain for four months and Italy for one year studying the language and teaching English. Emily is an active participant at the DC Improv Comedy Club.
