Eric Schwartz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fintech sector. Currently serving as an Operating Partner at Canapi Ventures since November 2021, Schwartz contributes to helping B2B fintech founders scale their businesses. Prior to this role, Schwartz was an Angel Investor at Sneaker Con Digital, which was acquired by eBay in November 2021. Schwartz also held the position of Managing Director at Promontory Financial Group from April 2008 to November 2021, where the focus was on addressing strategic, regulatory, and compliance challenges for financial institutions. Additionally, Schwartz taught business financial management as an Adjunct Instructor at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and held various roles at Promontory Interfinancial Network, which provided early exposure to startups and fintech. Schwartz holds a BSBA in Finance with a minor in Spanish from Georgetown University.
