Mark Stout is an experienced professional in solar PV and energy storage project development with over 18 years in the industry. As Managing Member of StoutPower Consulting, LLC, since October 2013, Mark specializes in solar PV, energy storage, and green hydrogen, focusing on performance engineering and M&A due diligence. Mark has a proven track record in full life cycle utility project development, capital cost estimation, and financial modeling across a diverse range of PV projects, demonstrating expertise in solar resource data and generation modeling. Previous roles include Project Development Consultant at Candela Renewables and RWE Renewables, Director of Business Development at Ormat Technologies, and Vice President of Development Engineering at Amber Kinetics, showcasing Mark’s leadership in significant renewable energy projects. Mark holds an MA in Energy and Resources from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
