Ruhua You is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in transmission and interconnection management within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as Vice President at Candela Renewables, LLC since May 2020, Ruhua has held various leadership roles in the company including Senior Director and Director in Transmission and Interconnection. Prior to this, Ruhua worked at Clearway Energy Group as Senior Manager of Grid Integration, overseeing interconnection processes for solar and wind projects across multiple U.S. regions. Additional experience includes managerial roles at First Solar, leadership at DNV GL in generator interconnection, consultancy at Utility System Efficiencies, and engineering positions at Siemens Energy and California Independent System Operator. Ruhua holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman, along with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Zhejiang University.
