Shaan Desai has extensive experience in the real estate and development sectors, currently serving as Development Manager at Canderel Group since November 2016, where prior roles included Senior Financial Analyst. Before joining Canderel Group, Shaan held the position of Research Manager at Avison Young from October 2014 to October 2016 and was a Senior Research Analyst at CBRE Canada from March 2013 to September 2014. Earlier in the career, Shaan served as a Market Analyst at Urban Analytics from March 2012 to March 2013 and gained initial experience as a Research Analyst at the City of North Vancouver and the Real Estate Foundation of BC in 2010 and 2009, respectively. Educationally, Shaan holds a Master of Planning in Urban Planning from Dalhousie University (2009-2011) and a Bachelor's degree in Economic Geography from Simon Fraser University (2003-2007).
