David Barr is a seasoned professional in data operations and database management with extensive experience in various roles within organizations such as Candid and GuideStar. Currently serving as the Data Operations Manager at Candid since July 2024, David oversees the Data Operations group, focusing on data imports, ETL processes, and storage strategies. Prior to this, David held multiple positions at Candid, including Data Operations Lead and Senior Database Administrator, contributing to the development of the Candid Data System and the integration of data sources. David's career began as a Systems Administrator and progressed through roles such as Data Engineer and Database Administrator, with foundational experience as a .Net Developer and Software Tester. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from William & Mary, obtained in 2004.
