Jhair James

Jhair James is a Marketing Project Coordinator at the Cannabis Control Commission since November 2022 and a Board Member at Business Not as Usual Entrepreneur Institute Inc., a position held since January 2020 after serving as an Advisory Board Member from 2014 to 2019. Previously, Jhair worked as a Marketing Intern at Axcelis Technologies, focusing on aftermarket and quality reviews, and as a Member Services Representative at Tufts Health Plan. Jhair is the Founder of Pieces 4 Peace, a nonprofit organization promoting healing through art in the Boston community, and has held various roles in graphic illustration and design, including Graphic Illustrator for Art of Jhai Illustrations and freelance illustrator for FableVision. Jhair's experience also includes internships at Massachusetts Port Authority and ArtsEmerson, along with administrative support at Macy's. Jhair holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Lesley University and graduated from Boston Arts Academy.
